Quality Interior Painting

Interior painting requires a special level of care and attention to detail. For decorator quality workmanship, Old House Restoration is right for the job, handling all finishes from one color, multiple colors and more. Our staff of year-round professionals has painted interiors for over 35 years and treats your home with the respect it deserves. We can make your home look like the show place of your dreams.

Protect and Prepare

Before we start the work, we take precautions to protect your belongings by moving furniture and delicate items, covering and masking surfaces to protect them from dust and paint. We use plastic to cover furniture and canvass to cover floors. If our work spans multiple days, we also clean up before we leave each night.

We realize that the quality of the final project is only as good as the finish underneath it. Before we paint, we first prepare the surface by removing wallpaper and repairing damage, nail holes, cracks and other imperfections in the drywall or plaster, being careful to match the existing texture. Excessively dirty surfaces must be cleaned before applying paint. Trim surfaces (doors and casings) need to be lightly sanded with fine sandpaper before application of paint.

C. W. Tilley can restore your old walls and ceilings to look better than when they were new.

Consultation and Painting

We can provide any style of painting - from standard brush and roll to spray applied multi-color finishes - from new home construction to restoration work. We can also help guide you through the color selection process, as well as choosing the appropriate paint material and painting style.

Cabinet Repainting and Refinishing

One of the most dramatic ways to give your kitchen a new look is to change the look of your cabinets. Changing the cabinets completely is the most expensive choice and may be unnecessary, especially if your cabinets are well-made and in good condition. A more cost-effective solution is to refinish your existing cabinets.

Long-term sun exposure and wear and tear can take the life out of the finishing of your built-in cabinets. We specialize in refinishing and repairing kitchen and bathroom wood cabinets. By giving your cabinets a completely new look or restoring them to their original beauty, you can update your kitchen at a fraction of the cost of new cabinets.

We help you determine your options such as color, whether to use your existing hardware or replace with new, repairs, budget, and other details that can contribute to the success of the project.
